Pet Milk
We have been selling raw goat milk for human consumption for 6 years. We have been feeding it all along
to our own dogs, cats & chickens. We have seen first hand what an amazing nutritional boost this gives
to our animals, as well as our own bodies!
Thanks for visiting our site - we are under construction, so
check back once in awhile and see it as we develop it more!
Why feed raw milk to my pet?
Goat milk in particular burns alkaline in the body. Mammals are most healthy when their pH is alkaline.
Processed foods make animals acidic.
Goat milk is very easy to digest - taking about 20 minutes, compared to up to 8 hours for cow milk
Raw milk is actually a living substance. There are lactobacillis bacteria, and live enzymes in the milk to
help digest proteins, sugars and fats. The kefir culture is amazing at giving your pet "good" bacteria
to aid in digestion and to fight off "bad" bacteria. Commercial dog foods have no live components.
What are some results you have seen from feeding your goat milk?
My 14 year old 120 lb Anatolian shepherd, Rhoda, moves much better and actually wanders all over the farm when she
gets copious amounts of goat milk. She even started barking off predators again.
One woman called and said she had spent a year going to vets to cure her dogs' tail bleeding every time
she wagged it - leaving blood splatters everywhere. After antibiotics, steroids and numerous other attempts
to heal the tail, she tried goat milk. I quote "I kid you not, it was literally 7 days and the tail had completely
healed!! If this is what it does for the outside, I can only imagine what it is doing on the inside! I will be
buying this milk for my dog!"
What makes your goat milk different?
Because our "girls" are off grain - we are browsing our goats on 10 acres of brush adjacent to our property.
Grain is the mainstream dairy way of increasing milk production. I have lost more girls to something called
"acidosis" from their stomachs getting too acidic because of grain, that I am done with it!!
"Browsing" means grazing plants that grow above ground. The girls love tree bark and branches, weeds, blackberries,
salmon berries - almost anything is preferred over grass. We also rotationally graze our herd on our organically
managed but not certified pastures. We are rabidly organic in our practices - but if a doe needs assistance during labor-
and by going in to turn a kid, I give her a uterine infection and need to give her pennecillin- the organic
folks think I need to get rid of her. I am unwilling to do so.
We treat most sickness with herbal and homeopathic remedies. We worm with herbal wormers as well.
We fertilize the pastures with our own composted barn waste and organic minerals.
